Walmart & Sam’s Club roll out Produce Safety Initiative
Walmart & Sam’s Club rolled out a Produce Safety Initiative on November 30 to all suppliers worldwide, and it will affect all produce suppliers who supply to Walmart & Sam's Club.
In the past, certification has applied only to the packhouse/warehouse level, however this now requires growers to obtain certification.
Walmart accepts a number of GAP standards, and we're pleased to be able to offer them, as well as be one of the Walmart approved Certification Bodies.
